At only 33 years of age, Kratsios currently serves as Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, Chief Technology Officer of the United States, and Deputy Assistant to the President at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He is also a faithful Greek Orthodox Christian with a certificate from Princeton in Hellenic Studies, and in his position at the White House he advocates for the promotion of emerging technologies in the United States
